Terms of use

These terms apply to your use of the SlabSet concrete calculator at slabset.online (“SlabSet”, “we”, “us”). By using SlabSet, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

SlabSet is a free online calculator that helps you estimate concrete volume, wastage, indicative bag or premix quantities, and related costs based on your measurements and inputs.

SlabSet is general guidance only. It is not engineering, structural, or building design advice; a quantity survey or certified take-off; a quote from any supplier; or a guarantee that your pour will succeed or meet code, council, or engineering requirements.

You are responsible for checking all results before ordering concrete or related materials.

All outputs — including volumes, bag counts, premix order sizes, cost comparisons, and recommended supply options — are indicative estimates based on simplified formulas and assumptions. Real sites vary. Sub-base conditions, spillage, formwork, supplier minimums, short-load fees, pump access, strength grade, and engineer specifications may differ from what SlabSet shows.

You must independently verify all figures with your supplier and, for structural work, a qualified engineer or builder.

Default metro prices shown are starting points, not live quotes.

Any label such as “recommended” compares options only on the simplified cost logic in the calculator. It does not endorse a supplier or product.

Using SlabSet does not create a client, professional, or advisory relationship between you and the operator of SlabSet.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue SlabSet at any time without notice. We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page with an updated date.

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, SlabSet is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that the service will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or error-free.

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of SlabSet, including over-ordering or under-ordering concrete, project delay, wasted cost, or structural issues, except where liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You use SlabSet at your own risk and are solely responsible for measuring and entering dimensions correctly, choosing appropriate wastage and product options, confirming quantities and prices before purchase, and complying with building codes, council requirements, and engineering specifications.

SlabSet, its design, and content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the calculator for personal or business estimation. You may not scrape, resell, or misrepresent the service as your own product without permission.
